Grim, recently retired 'iron judge' Ernst Blessing lives alone with his dog since his only daughter left angrily 18 years ago. Viveka orders her local lawyer, Lennart Sonderblom, to get her custody and permission to sell the farm, but he always has the hots for Hanna and secretly starts siding with the three mourning girls.
